About me
Ever since I was a baby, I have always been told that my passion for cars is abnormal. Starting from the age of 1 years old, I would always have a toy car in my hand, then growing up I would always be wearing a car T shirt. From the age of 5, I could name many car manufacturers and models. This kept on escalating and by 10 I could name and describe any performance car from the 1990s and 2000s era.
Going on, for Birthdays I would always be given a driving experience, simply because I just couldn’t wait to drive. A lot of people see it as ‘A to B’ and to me that is very sad. I still remember my first ever summer job working in the village garage for-seeing MOTs and inspections. There was a local car collector who used to bring in a different car each Saturday morning. A fond memory was sitting in the drivers seat of a Brewster Green Bentley Continental S2 Coupe. As years went on, I went on to doing my work experience at various different specialists, including GTO Engineering and McLaren MSO. These were massive eye openers and being asked to go and wash a Ferrari 250 SWB Competizione will always be my scariest car washing memory.
I purchased my first car at 16 years of age. It was a 1987 MG Metro MK2. I have very fond memories of the car, learning to drive in something so rewarding yet alien compared to modern cars with PAS and ABS. That’s what truly ignited my love for hot hatches, even though I drooled over them for a decade before! I owned the car for two years until I sold it to buy a Peugeot 106 Rallye S2. A car which I then owned for 3 years.
I am now 22 years old and having been round cars all my life, the spark is only getting hotter. I offer a pre and post inspection service which includes a thorough mechanical, interior, cosmetic and underside examination. I am trusted by many and have inspected a lot of cars including this Porsche 996.2 GT3 Clubsport to the left.
As well as inspections, I offer a great variety of hot hatches and modern classics, fit for every budget. If there is a car you are looking for in particular, then feel free to reach out.
You may also recognise me from my sister website: choppercollector.co.uk . Since 2020 (16 years old) I started out in restoring, purchasing and selling Raleigh bikes, particularly Choppers, Grifters and Burners. I have always loved vintage cars and bikes and seeing the Chopper for the first time was quite spectacular. There’s no other UK manufactured bike quite like it. My first was a 1975 MK2 in Infra Red with yellow decals. The bike had gone through a comprehensive restoration and looked the piece. Ever since then, I was hooked and have had over 30 bikes pass through my hands, with over 15 of them going through my ‘preservation package’. This meant taking a project, which most would repaint and re chrome, but instead cleaning it up the best as I could, mechanically overhauling it and keeping the bike as original as possible. I am still very active on this side and if you would like to relive your childhood cycling dream, then do get in touch!
